Customer Activation Specialist, Category Management

In this position you will be developing and researching what products should shop shelves contain. You will be developing distribution and visibility of our products at different points of sale in both Czechia & Slovakia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor shelve layouts regularly and recommend corrections in order to meet target
  • Manage and optimize the assortment and distribution of goods on shops shelves to assure its profitability
  • Sales trends analysis and preparation of Category overview presentations
  • Play a key role in making recommendations for assortment composition on the shelf
  • Monitor market development, consumer behavior and competition
  • Lead, coordinate and execute specific customer joint projects
  • Adapt Marketing strategy and plans for Sales Execution
  • Manage implementation of local and international projects
  • Make proposals and cooperate on category changes
  • Maintain good level of cooperation with attributed clients and actively participate

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

To be successful in this position we need you to have:
  • First experience in a Business Analyst or Sales role preferably within FMCG business
  • University degree
  • Proven ability to collect, organize & interpret data into meaningful insights that support decision making
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of product merchandising or shelf management will be additional asset
  • Very good communication, planning and problem solving skills with “can-do” attitude
  • Fluent Czech/Slovak and English
