As Product Cost Controlling Analyst and part of our finance team, you’ll:
  • Carry out period end activities incl. variance analysis.
  • Participate in reporting tasks and in the creation of internal controls and SOx documentation.
  • Participate in planning activities.
  • Support on all Product Costing aspects of data management within SAP ECC, SAP BI and Oracle EPM/FiT.
  • Provide support/explanations to EU management and Biscuits category team.
  • You are also responsible for accuracy, timeliness and integrity of detailed product cost controlling data for the category based on data inputs from multiple sources including Procurement, CS&L, Plant controlling etc.

Main responsibilities:
1. Maintain Product Cost Controlling Data together with Analysis and Review:
  • Carry out period end activities incl. variance analysis.
  • Carry out budget activities incl. variance analysis.
  • Prepare detailed analysis/variance reports for period end as well as budgets, both for internal use and for category finance.
  • Assist with the creation of internal controls and SOx documentation.
  • Review of cost centres and CoGS (cost of goods sold) P&L lines.

2. Further tasks:
  • Support the whole product cost controlling team in ensuring integrity and consistency of data in SAP, BI and Oracle EPM/FiT (actual and plan).
  • Support product cost controlling process.
  • Support with further process optimization.

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree or equivalent in economics or financial area.
  • Previous experience working within SAP integrated environment
  • Functional experience in manufacturing controlling, accounting or financial controlling, ideally in an international environment.
  • Well organised with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with different systems (Microsoft Excel, SAP, BI, Oracle EPM/FiT)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player
  • Action oriented to learn quickly in a dynamic environment, dealing with challenges of high pressured working culture
  • Working in a highly complex and dynamic environment requires managing multiple priorities simultaneously, high self-motivation with ‘can-do’ attitude
