Site HSSE Manager

At BMI Group, safety is our priority. We are looking for a proactive Site HSSE Manager for our plant in Štúrovo. This is a high-visibility role where you will not only manage local safety but also act as a key link between our plant and the Group-level HSSE organization.

You will be a vital member of the local management team with a strong focus on:

• Strategic Communication: Actively participate in the international HSE network, sharing expertise and reporting directly to Group-level functional heads.

• Safety by Design: Support the plant during the installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are integrated from day one.

• Incident Prevention: Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for any incidents and implement corrective actions that set new standards for the site.

• Environmental Stewardship: Oversee compliance programs for air, water, and waste management.

• Culture & Training: Engage employees at all levels to foster a "safety first" mindset through effective training and coaching.

We value someone who can balance technical expertise with excellent communication skills:

• The Bridge Builder: You communicate effortlessly with colleagues on the shop floor, but you are also confident reporting to regional leadership in English (B2 level required).

• The Expert: You hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent OSH qualification and have a deep understanding of safety regulations.

• The Professional: You are self-motivated, hands-on, and proficient in using Google Suite or MS Office for professional reporting.

• Experience in heavy industry or construction environments.

• Experience with ISO 14001 or 45001 implementation.

• Certifications in Fire Protection (TPO) or as an Authorized OSH Technician (ABT).

• Salary: From 2100€ gross/month – we are open to discussing the final offer based on your seniority and experience.
