Junior / Medior PHP Developer

IT department of e-commerce web service based in Slovakia is looking for PHP developer.

Our company supplies furniture to Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Croatia through such websites as novynabytok.sk, hezkynabytek.cz, zondo.ro, zondo.hu and several more. The office, based in Bratislava, has a relaxed professional environment with English, Slovak, Russian and Chinese speakers.

The job entails developing the customer facing website, back office staff portal and maintaining a warehouse management system.

Candidates should be able to work independently within a team. They should also have experience of building web portals including maintaining databases, organising and deploying code and implementing new features and technologies.

Requirements:

Working experience with PHP(7) and MySQL.
HTML/CSS/JQuery (HTML5, CSS3).
Experience with version control (Git).
Ability to communicate in English, the interview will be in English.

Experience in these fields would be a great plus:

Linux server administration.
Object Oriented design patterns.
JavaScript (ES6, React).
Document-based databases (CouchDB).
PostgreSQL.

Nice-to-haves:

Experience with module bundling (Webpack).
Experience with task systems (Jira).
Experience with templating modules for PHP (Mustache).
Experience with mobile development on React Native.
Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit, Jest, Enzyme).
Experience with RabbitMQ or similar
