AP Specialist is responsible for efficiently processing, verifying and reconciling invoices, the crucial role extends to the management of electronic invoice registration, meticulous data entry, overseeing supplier invoicing, and analyzing invoices to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Main responsibilities at the position are:

SUPPLIER INVOICE MANAGEMENT
  • Match invoices, credit notes, and debit notes with completed payments to suppliers.
  • Prepare and process documents necessary for accounting, ensuring correctness and completeness (Law & IFRS standards).
  • Analyze and resolve financial or quantitative irregularities/discrepancies in payments.
  • Process documents based on requirements and documents from the controlling department (IR, CNR, DNR).
  • Formally control the correctness of issued and delivered documents to avoid blocking invoices and payments.
  • Address differences in accounting and resolve issues (price, volume, payment).
  • Create and modify master data on supplier accounts.
PREPARATION & REPORTING
  • Prepare documents in accordance with the needs/requirements of the audit.
  • Participate in monthly and year-end closing activities with the chief accountant.
  • Analyze, propose and implement improvements to internal processes and procedures.
  • Archive documents in accordance with internal procedures.
COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION
  • Communicate with suppliers to request missing documents.
  • Cooperate with the finance team, other departments, and interested third parties.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks from superiors.
  • Direct and regular cooperation with suppliers in solving problems.

  • Knowledge of fluent ENGLISH is a must and also professional knowledge AT LEAST ONE of the other required languages - FRENCH and/or HUNGARIAN
