We are looking for Channel Marketing Intern to work with us. We are looking for a candidate who will join our Consumer Channel Groups (CCG) and will be the part of Retail Sales&Marketing (RSM) Business Group. The person will be driving consumer marketing strategy interacting with retail stores and distributors. This will mean running digital campaigns as well as partnering with retail stores to ensure the proper execution physically in stores. The Intern will also be responsible for promo materials localization (translation from English and Czech into Slovak) as well as doing analytics.

Qualifications and requirements

•2016 full-time graduate (Bachelor or Master program) or student of the final year on track to get full-time Bachelor or Master Degree in 2017;
•Degree in Economics, Management, Business or Marketing is a big advantage;
•Previous experience in a sales/business development/consulting/marketing in B2C sector will be a benefit;
•Strong motivation to work at Microsoft as a Channel Marketing Manager working with Retail partners (both online and offline) across variety of Microsoft consumer products;
•Ability to build successful Customer/Partner Relationships; client facing experience will be an advantage;
•Excellent communication skills, both written (in Slovak&English) and oral;
•Excellent negotiations and cross-group collaboration skills;
•Ability to successfully work independently as well as be efficient team player;
•Entrepreneurial skills;
•Analytical problem solving skills;
•Knowledge of Excel will be an advantage;
•Customer obsessed;
•Thriving in a fast paced, ambiguous environment;
•Ready for business trips across Czech Republic and Slovakia;
•Fluent English and Slovak languages
•Able to work full-time or part-time (20-30 hours per week) starting from January-February 2017;
•Able to work full-time starting from September 2017;
•Desire to build a long-term career at Microsoft, particularly as part of our Microsoft Academy for College Hires (MACH) program;
•Most important is the willingness to gain new skills and learn further.
