Job description, responsibilities and duties
Provide leadership and management to the finance and accounting teams in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for your region
Provide supervision and oversight for any SAP system implementations or ongoing system enhancements
Identify and actively manage tax-related exposures (e.g., VAT, transfer pricing)
Coordinate and supervise the annual financial statement audit of each country
Drive process improvements in the accounting function and accelerated monthly closing process, providing accurate and timely financial information to senior management
Perform business analysis on a regular and ad hoc basis as needed

Language skills
Czech - Advanced (C1) and English - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
Finance generalist with good knowledge of accounting, controlling and reporting in a corporate and international environment
Proven leadership experience across multiple European countries
Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required (ACCA certification preferred)
Knowledge of Czech GAAP and IFRS
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management, multi-tasking skills and start-up mentality
Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment
Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
Fluent in Czech and English
Demonstrated ability to interface with and maintain effective relationships with diverse personalities in a team-oriented environment
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and experience with SAP
Proven leadership experience across multiple European countries
