Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for experienced IT Project Manager, who would like to support us in global rollout projects of OMNIS Client/Server. In this role, you will lead the project teams that roll out OMNIS Client/Server on the IT infrastructures of our globally active customers. You will accompany our customers from the project sales phase through the worldwide rollout to the productive commissioning of our software platform. If you have a passion for innovative IT solutions, have gained many years of experience as an IT project manager, and are ready to take on responsibility in large international projects, we would like to get to know you!

- Participation in the preparation of offers for global software rollout projects and IT services as well as their negotiation with the customer
- Independent planning and implementation of IT projects in close cooperation with the customer project manager to achieve the project goals in terms of time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Planning and leading globally distributed project staff
- Coordination of project resources, full cost and budget responsibility, and project reporting
- Participation in steering board meetings
- Monitoring of schedules, risks, and issues as well as tracking the resulting measures
- Checking and ensuring internal performance settlement between Metrohm headquarters and the subsidiaries involved in the project

Personality requirements and skills
- You have successfully completed a degree in (business) computer science or a comparable practical education in the computer science environment
- You have several years of experience (5+) as a project manager in the implementation of critical IT applications
- You have in-depth knowledge of the IT infrastructures of large customers
- You have methodological competence in project management with corresponding certifications (e.g. IPMA Level B/C, PMI, Hermes, Scrum).
- You have know-how in IT service management, which will help you with the operational handovers in the projects
- Ideally, you already have knowledge of operational requirements from the GMP/GxP environment of the pharmaceutical industry
- If you already have experience with tenders for multinational companies, that would be a plus.
- You have clear and appropriate communication even in complex environments
- You are resilient, proactive, communicative, with agile mindset
- Your English is business fluent and you are used to communicating with globally distributed customers in English
- You are able to travel - at beginning really a lot - 3 - 6 months in our HQ in Herisau, Switzerland (possibility to split it into more blocks)
