Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Preparing product definition by working with stakeholders, developers, and internal/external customers
  • Collaboration within the Scrum team in the development of the product
  • Analysing the SW requirements and breaking them down into epics and stories
  • Participation in agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Demonstrations and Retrospectives
  • Maintenance of product backlog
  • Assistance with risk, change and dependency management
  • Close cooperation with POs and other PO proxies regarding the prioritization and procedure in the sprints

  • English - advanced, German - advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience on similar position
  • Facilitation skills – ability to facilitate meetings and requirements definition and be a liaison between internal/external customer, developers and stakeholders
  • Analytical skills – detail oriented with ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user request from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
  • Organizational skills – ability to work with the vast array of information gathered during requirements analysis and to exercise flexibility with changing business priorities
  • Interpersonal skills – ability to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among representatives from various business and development teams
  • Team skills – works well with others, delivers positive energy to their team
  • Time management skills – ability to work in a fast paced team environment and consistently meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Modelling skills – ability to represent requirements in graphical forms that clarify and augment written requirements
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of the Sprints
  • Knowledge of agile framework (Scrum particularly)
