What will be your responsibilities?
· As Build Systems Administrator, you are member of a Scrum team and stay in close contact with your team colleagues, located in 3 locations (Herisau, Bratislava, Oviedo) on a daily manner.
· You are responsible for the CI/CD systems, pipelines, and configuration
· You are responsible for long-time stability of the said system
· You will perform responsive actions on broken builds, help users understand and leverage system features
· You clarify requirements with the responsible Product Owner, develop concepts and solutions together with your team and Metrohm’s IT.
· You support your team and the software engineers in their technical development.
· You coordinate and implement updates and maintenance of the server infrastructure with the corresponding teams

What’s your background?
· You have a programming background with willingness to learn and maintain both proprietary build technical stack
· You are experienced with any CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity,...
· You have experience with the .NET platform/C#/Kotlin, previous usage of OO design principles
· You are experienced with content versioning tool (Git,..); production/bug-tracking tools (ALM, JIRA); build definition scripts (MSBuild,BuildGraph, CMake,...)
· You are familiar with client/server concept
· You have ability to identify inefficient processes and propose/execute improvements and you are able to design and implement new system features
· You are communicative, creative, and like to take responsibility
· You enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment and enjoy sharing your experience with a motivated team
· You have strong ability to quickly learn new areas of development, ability to analyze a situation and communicate the most effective and efficient solution
· You have a helpful personality who likes to support our software engineers and stakeholders
· Good knowledge in English is needed, German is a nice to have
· Skillful knowledge of Windows Powershell is good to have
