Deputy Controlling Manager

You can be looking forward to...
• Performing accurate and timely fulfilment of reporting requirements for Germany and Slovakia
• Acting as a finance business partner to various departments
• Analysing daily and monthly data coming from commercial systems.
• Responsibility for fulfilling requirements for forecasting related to P&L, Balance sheet, Cash Flow and Net Working Capital
• Performing accurate and timely fulfilment of reporting requirements for Slovakia internal management
• Analysing income, costs, KPI's and investments.process
• Preparing of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, maintaining identification of chances and risks and proposal of corrective actions for all departments and business areas
• Assist the Controlling manager with coordination of monthly closing and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Finalizing presentations for Board Meetings, Performance Reviews, etc. by adding meaningful commentary and checking for accuracy and consistency
• Cooperation on enhancement of management information system, cooperation with accounting department and controlling colleagues during monthly closing
• Assist with the preparation of business cases and other strategic initiatives for financial steering
• Managing of team of controllers as a Deputy

You should match the requirements...
• University Degree (financial, economic is preferred)
• Business acumen, understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and net working capital
• Experience form controlling or analytical department at least 4-5 ears
• Excellent PC/software skills (MS office / VBA / SQL / SAP / advanced excel), Knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS
• English is a must
• You should be very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure, good team player, ability to meet multiple stretching deadlines, great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• Experience in managing people (small teams 3-4 members)
