Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an engaged and motivated colleague who is willing & able to support our provided internal services in the role as GL Accountant.
The right candidate should have gained proven experiences in SAP FI/CO Module and worked successfully in Accounting or Finance area. A structured & well organized personality, who can support our accounting team in post go-live phase of newly implemented SAP system.
Purpose & Main Activities:
Responsible for the day to day maintenance operations and also supporting post go-live phase:
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of GL data
• Preparation of databases for subledger transfer
• Check and post invoices and accruals
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Deal with invoice discrepancies
• Monthly/YE closing
• Complete general accounting transactions based on requirements
• Review accounting documents
• Identify financial discrepancies on GL accounts
• Prepare reports based on requirements
• Contribute to the set-up process activities and procedures as well as actively taking part in projects if required; Drive continuous improvement processes
• Participate on audit and reports preparation
• Close cooperation with Accounting Manager on other relevant activities
