Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an engaged and motivated colleague who is willing & able to take over the role as functional expert procurement, as well as governing and enhancing internal procurment processes based on SAP system. The function will be in close collaboration and integral part of the Central and Easter Europe Market Cluster of Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans.
Purpose & Main Activities:
• Responsible for operative purchasing of non-production materials and services
• Recognize and evaluate opportunities for reduced prices and cost saving potentials
• Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals or quotations
• Negotiate price and conditions and commit with terms in best interest of organization
• Supplier Management responsibility in a facilitator role
• Enhance transparency, develop and conduct reporting for procurement activities
• Execution of purchasing related ICS / compliance controls
• Support of functional areas within the organization regarding procurement related topics
