Job description, responsibilities and duties
As Junior Marketing Manager (m/f/d) you will accompany the development and implementation of a corporate marketing strategy in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. You will act as an interface between our European subsidiaries and work closely with marketing staff from different countries.
Your responsibilities:
• Shaping the development of a strong European business brand in the field of electronic procurement.
• Developing and accompanying holistic marketing campaigns in order to position Mercateo as a specialist for electronic procurement for medium-sized companies.
• Organising networking events, local events and our roadshow series.
• Designing new event formats to increase awareness of the Mercateo brand.
• You will be responsible for invitation management, budget planning and reporting as well as camera teams, speakers, partners and external agencies.
• You will be in direct contact with the Mercateo community and will be responsible for event communication via our website and social media channels.
• In addition, you will be the interface between marketing and internal departments.
• You will develop communication materials for various target groups.

• You have successfully completed your training or studies in marketing and have initial work experience - ideally in a B2B company.
• You have a strong interest in e-commerce topics and a pronounced online affinity.
• You have very good communication and presentation skills.
• You are a committed organisational talent, work in a structured manner, with the necessary assertiveness and a lot of team spirit.
• Agile project management methods are not a foreign word for you.
• You have a good feeling for language and a penchant for writing.
• You have technical understanding, a hands-on mentality and flexibility in terms of working hours.
• In addition to Slovak and Hungarian, you can also communicate in English without any problems.
• You have a strong interest in e-commerce topics and a pronounced online affinity.
