Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Overall responsibility for setting up of central purchasing strategy for all goods and services, procurement processes and relationships with other departments within the company.
- Responsibility for the establishment and further management of the department of central purchasing including leadership, motivation and evaluation of employees.
- Responsibility for business results of the department (performance review, improving the general supply conditions and prices).
- Responsibility for permanent improvement and increasing efficiency across the purchasing process.
- Ensuring the quality of internal control of purchasing processes.
- Responsible for supplier selection via competitive tendering.
- Ensuring of suppliers contract management.

Personality requirements and skills

University education (Master's degree).
5+ years experience in leading of Procurement or Purchasing Department ideally from segment of financial services.
3+ years experience in people management.
Microsoft Excel on advanced level.
English language on advanced level is a must.
Slovak language on advanced level is a must.
German language is an advantage.
Driving licence B.
Very well developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Experience in preparation of analyses, reports and statistics.
Analytical and strategic thinking.
Business acumen.
Strong result orientation.
Flexibility and assertiveness.
