Job description, responsibilities and duties
Legal guarantor for all external and internal activities of company.
Communication with regulatory authorities, state institutions and other departments within the company.
Responsibility for compliance of activities with legislation, implementation of standards from headquarters to local environment as well as independent creation and design of legal procedures and measures.
Monitoring of legislative changes. Safeguarding compliance with legislative requirements.
Provision of legal opinions covering the Compliance agenda.
Active representation of the company towards external authorities (ministries, commissions, interest associations).
Active communication with headquarters of the company and involvement in projects on international level.
Coordination of external partners – law firms and consulting companies.
Direct management of a Contract Specialist.
Reporting to CEO of the company and Head of Legal on group level.

Personality requirements and skills
Minimum 4-5 years of experience on the position of in-house lawyer or attorney at a law firm.
Experience with the legal issues of regulated segments, experience with Compliance is an advantage.
Knowledge of the Slovak legal order. Fluent in English, including legal English.
High personal responsibility, flexibility. Sound managerial and coordination skills, with focus on time management and prioritization.
