Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Financial responsibility for a dedicated region and business unit within the existing controlling team in HQ
Sparring partner for General Manager and Head of Controlling in a matrix organization
Responsibility for development of controlling projects throughout the entire European organization in order to enhance existing reporting tools
Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, result analysis and initiation of countermeasures
Responsibility for monthly closing activities
Responsibility for presentation of monthly results combined with explanations in the operational review meetings
Communication and cooperation with internal departments and external partners (auditors and external accounting company)
Reporting to Headquarters (Germany)

Business economics, controlling or similar recognised professional education

Language skills

Personality requirements and skills

University degree in business economics, controlling or similar recognised professional education
3+ years of experience in controlling from manufacturing companies is a must
Good knowledge in local GAAP of Slovakia and IFRS
Proven experience in month end and year end closing procedures in SAP
Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point), knowledge of SAP R/3 is a must
Active knowledge of English language is a must, knowledge of German is beneficial
Excellent organizational skills with experience of reporting and planning a range of tasks effectively and for daily operational needs
Strong in communication within the company and with clients/partners
Highly responsible and stress-resistant
Proactive attitude, dynamic, with high drive and self-action
