Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main responsibility for IT operation and maintenance of actual company´s infrastructure in headquarter based in Slovakia
Analyse current status of infrastructure, identifying possibility to upgrade it
Provide improvements on IT infrastructures in connection between Slovakia, Germany, and Poland offices
Set-up stabile infrastructure back-bone mainly based on Cisco components and Microsoft environment
Close cooperation with German IT technical department
Provide technical expertise to clients regarding IT requirements
Cover Vendor management
Create solution “On premise” not in cloud
Cooperate with 1 IT Specialist
Direct report to local General Manager

Ideally CCNA certified professional or 1 level lower professional
Knowledge of the most common network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, OSPF, IPsec, http, SSL) and common layer techniques
Knowledge about the requirements of the operating systems used in data centres ( e.g. Microsoft Server 2012 R2), in professional firewalling and in the configuration of firewall structures
Knowledge of the design, expansion and implementation of complex LAN/ DMZ infrastructures in the areas of switching/ routing, firewalls, load balancers and VPN
MCSA certificate is welcomed
Very good knowledge of English, ideally knowledge of German (company language is German)
Responsible and reliable approach
