Job description, responsibilities and duties

Sales of Business Analytics & Datawarehouse software products, solutions and services in high volume, multi- tasking environment to prospects and current accounts.
Cooperation with other sales, pre/ sales, marketing and consulting personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory and subsegments.
Fulfills wide range of requests for information from prospective customers. Qualifies level of opportunity and type of account. Actively participates in sales calls and presentations; identifies goals, evaluate account needs, and designs appropriate demonstrations.
Prospects within a territory or account to uncover business needs.
Implements aspect of dedicated territory and account management and development, identifies accounts with high “close” potential, qualifies, and forecast time frames to close business. Assumes responsibility for all activity in accounts and new revenue, both software and services.
Prepares standard quotations and proposal information as needed; works with other departments to create and finalize contracts and set time schedules for services.
Follows up with customers to track satisfaction levels and to discover additional revenue opportunities.
Develops a basic understanding of company pricing and licensing procedures.
Performs other duties, as assigned.

Personality requirements and skills

Minimum three years of experience in sales, pre-sales or business consulting related to software solutions or services (not hardware or packaged software).
Fluent English.
Specific industry related experience may be considered in combination with above requirements- relevant industries: telecommunications, utilities, FMCG.
Proven track record- individual sales targets.
Proven customer contact network.
Proven active participation in identifying and closing of opportunities. Ability to open doors, understand customer needs, present basic benefits and solutions without necessity to have group of pre-sales, consulting and marketing persons around.
Proven experience in working with partners.
Account management experience.
Knowledge of strategic sales techniques, knowledge of software or services acquisition cycles and buying influences.
Knowledge of industry software terminology and concepts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
