MEG Group SK is looking for a confident motivated, and experienced sales/store manager to join our frontline team. You must be pro-active in areas of business growth and team building.

The role of Store Manager is integral to the entire business, acting as the conduit of information between customers, retail team members and head office. It is a position that is valued across the organisation and rewarded through a good base salary, commissions, bonus structures and ongoing sales and management training.

We are looking for a strong leader with 2-5 years' experience in retail store management including proven experience improving the sales performance of a store. With the full support of head office, the Store Manager has responsibility for managing store financials, the team and the facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will help define your path in retail management.

MEG Group SK Managers are required to:

• Ability to develop our business.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Assign employees tasks fairly.
• Supervise employees ensuring personal sales targets are achieved.
• Achieve monthly store budgets.
• Liaise with group manager.
• Provide a total Flooring sales experience including technical expertise and quality advice to all customers.

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

Italian - Intermediate (B1) or Slovak - Proficiency (C2) or English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

To be successful in this role you will have:
• Must be fluent in Italian, and Slovak.
• 2 – 5 years retail store management experience
• Strong business acumen and the ability to drive sales and manage expenses
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service and customer conflict resolution skills
• Experience in training and motivating a retail team to meet goals and targets
• Proven sales background, closing sales with confidence.
• High level of interpersonal and technical sales skills.
• Complying with company policies & procedures for the general running of the store.
• Excellent ability to use group marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales.
• Great experience managing stock on hand and orders.
• Intermediate level of computer skills.
• An understanding of Workplace Health and Safety.
