A Day in the Life

The jobholder will take over responsibility to execute country specific implementation of key technologies and therapies development strategies & tactics plans to achieve Medtronic growth targets within Cardiac Rhythm & Heart Unit, and to ensure that approved plans are carried out in the field by the team, being responsible to formulate targets and following to be achieved by the team. S/he will be responsible for the expansion and protection of Medtronic sales in designated area accounts through Customer Relationship Management, coordinating the sales team for promotion and sales of specific SBU, to provide support and valued-added services to our customers, to ensure effective long term partnerships, keeping them focus to create a demand for product and assure the process for revenue sales income according with the country specific sales strategy for achieving the sales targets.

The role requires practical sales, business development and management knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics for one or more products. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within the sales discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
For this role preferred location is Slovakia.

Key responsibilities:
• Leads the sales team to achieve annual sales targets for Cardiac Rhythm & Heart Business Unit in terms of revenues and margins.
• Formulates sales targets in consultation with Country BUM following the Commercial Excellence drivers and analysis.
• Motivates and manages team of sales representatives in the assigned region and division.
• Ensures the selection and recruitment of high quality employees in line with company requirements utilizing appropriate selection techniques.
• Controls and monitors the execution of contracts, by using commercial tools (analyzing/compliance tracking, etc.).
• Leads the price strategy per account in accordance with country price strategy per product category.
• Identifies business opportunities and coordinates with the sales teams to execute and accelerate on these opportunities.
• Develops and drives appropriate portfolio management strategy in collaboration with BUM to gain, expands and protects market share, optimizes pricing strategy, and builds long-term contractual agreements.
• Facilitates country specific implementation of key field development strategies & tactics.
• Builds and maintains excellent relationship with Customers, Hospital administrative staff, local KOLs and all other Health Care System Stakeholders..
• Creates a demand for product and assures the process for revenue sales income according with the country specific sales strategy.
• Develops and executes local awareness programs to improve specific target education.
• Evaluates program impact, implements continuous improvement.
• Assures alignment with Regional Market Development strategy. Ensures alignment of education and clinical activities with the country strategy.

Minimum salary granted 34 480 € gross annually
