A Day in the Life
Principal responsibilities of GIH Sr. Market Development Specialist (may include the following and other duties may be assigned):
· Along with the BUM establish and roll-out the vision, strategy and annual goals and objectives for the GIH business for the CEMA region.
· Identify key geographies and develop a Market Development Plan.
· Prioritize & orchestrate activities arising from Market Development Plan.
· Work with the country teams to provide input on forecast, inventory control, phase in/out plans, clinical evaluations etc.
· Identify business growth opportunities and unmet customer requirements and provide focus for regional market development strategies.
· Develop marketing knowledge and analysis.
· Analyse all relevant external/ internal information to develop strategies to improve sales, decrease cost and increase market share for all key GIH product lines.
· Develop and manage regional KOLs using relationships to ensure customer needs are met by distributors.
· Gain a good customer understanding.
· Develop and implement customized in-country strategies.
· Leverage cross-functional resources.
· Work with the regional GIH and EMEA Market Development team to build robust plans to overcome barriers to adoption of our technologies.
· Build and roll out campaigns to convert customers and increasing utilisation

· Business & Financial Acumen: Possesses in depth disease state & procedural understanding, understands pricing impact on profitability, uses appropriate metrics to measure performance of assigned disease state & related procedures.
· Account Execution Excellence: Proficient in developing account strategies and tailoring the development of new offerings towards the target customers segments.
· Commercial Enablement: Can create alignment within the commercial sales team and thus optimize market effectiveness for the disease state related product portfolio, proactively manages demand planning & forecasting.
· Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% of time).
