This is an exciting opportunity where, as a regional Senior Strategic Planning Associate you will drive adoption, implementation and ownership of market development across all Medtronic's businesses and countries within Eastern Europe region, with focus on bringing selected therapies to Standard of Care through appropriate action plans and their further execution.

Principal responsibilities of Senior Strategic Planning Associate:
* Drive development and execution of market development plans across the entire portfolio of therapies and countries applying Medtronic Patient Access Acceleration (PAA) methodology
* Conduct Patient Access Acceleration workshops in the countries
* Develop and support strategic analysis of PAA data
* Regularly connect with regional and business unit leaders and management to identify needs in terms of portfolio prioritization and market development planning and guide on application of PAA and complementary analysis to drive valuable insights in their plans (Strategic Plans / AOP)
* Manage ad hoc programs and initiatives aimed at supporting market development in the region
* Track, report and drive progress on agreed business action plans
* Support HQ and in-country teams (Marketing, Business Management, Sales) in creating market development plans with impact for priority technologies using PAA and in driving consolidation of these plans at the country, business and regional levels
* Serve as a point of contact for expert advice on PAA tools & processes (especially for Market Development, Marketing, Reimbursement professionals for the businesses and countries
* Facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices across businesses and regions with regards to impactful market development plans and programs
* Communicate to the Strategic Planning and PMO Manager on developments and progress with PAA by region and business (identified priorities, progress with planning, market development activities, needs, issues)

For this regional role you will be expected to be located in any of following MDT locations: Prague, Czech Republic/Bratislava, Slovakia/Budapest, Hungary/Bucharest, Romania/Zagreb, Croatia

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Must haves:
* At least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, product management or strategy consulting
* Strong analytical skills combined with a sound business judgment
* Proven project management experience
* Strong influencing and leadership ability in matrix organizations
* Proven ability to effectively communicate (in written and verbally) at all levels in an organization and with diverse groups
* Excellent English skills
* Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
* Experience of working in multicultural environment

Nice to haves:
* Experience launching new medical products or drugs or other technologies
* Additional language as Slovak, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian or Croatian is an advantage
