Sales Representative, EbD - Bratislava, Slovakia

The main purpose of this job is to manage assigned sales territory with responsibilities to develop business with new and existing customers, to perform against sales target, as well as to provide full technical and clinical service including operating room presence.

Key responsibilities:
  • Plans and prepares AOP forecast by account and product for the territory, along with the proposed meetings and other customer activities. Ensure that the sales in the area exceed or equate with the forecasts of focused product lines.
  • Is able to sell and present at operating room and follow-ups and provide troubleshooting support when necessary or assigned by manager.
  • Plans and executes customers visits at the covered area in the most effective and economical manner.
  • Develops relationships with existing customers, identifies potential new customers, supports promotional activity and enhances the image of the company by showing professional attitude.
  • Acquire and further develop all necessary professional selling skills through meetings and training sessions and through attendance at outside training courses in accordance with the Company's personal development programs and by discussion, reading and constant practice.
  • Attends all sales meetings and company organized training sessions.
  • Liaises whenever necessary with sales office staff, finance manager and staff, Business Managers to ensure a proper level of customer service is maintained.
  • Reports all key activities in customer accounts on a regular monthly basis.
Main requirements:
  • University degree (preferred, but not necessary),
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales of medical devices or similar; experience in working in distributor environment will be an advantage,
  • Ability to sell product benefits to business partner personnel, physicians, nurses and administrators,
  • Ability and willingness to work in fast changing environment,
  • Fluent English,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Result oriented,
  • Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs), in order to develop territory specific plans, strategies and tactics,
  • Vision and creativity,
  • Creative thinking, with focus on development of business processes,
  • Ability to travel intensively.
