Legal Assistant
Náplň práce, zodpovednosti:
• Set up and update administrative processes for legal contract management, including uploading signed contracts into the contract management database (Legisway – EFFACTs).
• Work together with the Paralegal and the finance team to establish and support internal processes for corporate housekeeping/legal entity management and assist with corporate governance and other regulatory filings.
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Compliance Officer for Medline’s compliance programme, including compliance with anti-bribery laws, sector-specific aspects of interaction with healthcare providers, transparency reporting and the EU GDPR.
• Organize record-keeping and filing for any legal, compliance and privacy documents.
• Conduct occasional legal research and assist the legal counsels with updating template agreements.
• Support the department with the drafting of presentations, training materials, communications, spreadsheets, policies and SOPs.
• Communicate with outside counsel and assist with the collection of documents and information needed for fact investigation of claims/litigation or for other matters.
• Conduct research and provide assistance with regard to legal technology options to improve the department’s efficiency.
• Perform administrative duties, including, but not limited to, coordinating/scheduling meetings, setting agendas and sending out documents to attendees.
• Provide additional administrative support to the legal and compliance team members as required.
Profil uchádzača:
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience as a Legal Assistant (or similar role) in a multinational company or law firm
• Relevant experience in the fields of contract management, corporate housekeeping, compliance and data protection
• Solid communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English skills; another European language (e.g. French or German) is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously whilst partnering with business owners/other functions and the ability to determine when the escalation of issues is necessary
• Ability to respond productively to change in a timely manner
• Ability to structure activities into well-organized processes, making effective use of technology and software
• Accurate, independent, pragmatic, proactive, flexible and customer-oriented
• Good time and project management skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
