ICT Architect

* Technical research, design and implementation of data security, data protection and security processes for the entire NGENA platform,
* Create and validate internal and external processes covering Risk Management, security guidelines, standards and best practices,
* Assist in planning and execution of penetration tests, scripting, compliance validation of all components within the platform,
* Process security incidents and work with JIRA ticketing system,
* Operate and implement scheduled scans for Nessus and fine-tune policies,
* Creation, fine-tuning and documentation of Snort detection rules,
* Creation, fine-tuning and documentation of Splunk detection rules,
* Design, document and implementation of security procedures and requirements to improve NGENA’s security – ensuring data integrity, availability and confidentiality of all data, including customization or compliance requirements for business needs and technological changes,
* Identification of risks to the entire NGENA environment with regards to system extensions, changes or modifications,
* Assist, consult and advise on technical security related matters,
* Assist and work with engineers & architects to improve the allover security design and posture of the platform and advise on security related matters,
* Work with scripts in ansible to improve and validate hardening scripts,
* Management of the achievement of the ESARIS-Attainment (if given).

You are a flexible security expert with a broad technical scope covering network devices, appliances, RedHat OS, Windows Server 2016, Splunk and Cisco Firepower.
Thinking out of the box is not a problem for you and you can adapt quickly to unforeseen situations. You are a team player and you are patient in explaining designs and technologies to non-technical people.
You know how to apply soft-skills and negotiate compromises with higher management as well as engineers.
Additional network skills or certifications are desired but not mandatory."
