Finance Lead (Global Food Delivery Company)

YOUR MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES will be:

• Responsibility for ensuring high quality and compliance from a financial perspective
• Responsibility for ensuring local statutory compliance and alignment to the Group policies
• Ensuring of accurate reflection of the business performed in the territory (by providing P&L and B/L)
• Resolving accounting or reporting issues
• Ensuring all relevant local statutory accounts, tax, and other returns are filed appropriately and in accordance with local timing & requirements
• Responsibility for signing off on the monthly, quarterly, annual numbers and reviews and sign off on all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Supporting internal audits and the Control Framework, working in a matrix with Group Internal Audit and Group Controlling
• Supporting the Country Manager and local management team by providing them with weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly performance and financial insights
• Responsibility for providing monthly business performance commentary to the regional FD Acting as a local business partner, providing challenge and advice to local management team
• This is a role with +1 team member

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in Senior financial controller role
• Experience in Big4 is a great advantage
• Fluent English and Slovak
• Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
• Great logical and analytical problem solver
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Able to set clear goals, devise plans, attend to appropriate details and meet deadlines
• Relentless, results-oriented, someone that wants to go the extra mile to get the job done
• Able to build and maintain productive, cross - functional, cross cultural relationships
• Comfortable working with ambiguity within a rapidly changing, fast - paced environment
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Experience in managing a small team would be beneficial
