Job description, responsibilities and duties
The MSS Support Engineer provides remote support for the Marlink Enterprise customers and their mobile satellite communication systems. Our customized solutions of mobile satellite services (MSS) enable internet, data, voice, and video applications which are upgradable as operations evolve: from satellite phones, portable broadband terminals, and personal hotspots to M2M communications for real-time tracking and monitoring.
The Support Engineer helps customers to use their internet connection and related services by providing the following activities:
Activities:
• Handling all requests received by phone or e-mail in a professional way with the aim to satisfy customers
• Taking charge, qualifying, and logging incidents and requests in the ticketing system.
• Analyzing requests and complaints, performing troubleshooting, and applying solutions
• Maintenance of technical documentation for operational projects
• Active participation in the development of the Operational knowledge base

• Fluent English speaking and writing skills are mandatory, French or other languages are an advantage
• Team spirit, skills for service support, and customer orientation.
• Take initiative and show curiosity and autonomy.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
• Strong social skills for establishing professional relationships with clients.
