Job description, responsibilities and duties

Initial contract is for 1 year with possible prolongation to indefinite period.

Main goals:
Operational planning for new installations requests and service calls. Ensuring execution of field engineering assignments at the right time, with satisfactory quality and within defined cost limits. Primary focus on Project implementation.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise field service trips ordered by Project Management (PM) or Network Operation Center (NOC) using Marlink or Certified International field partners Field Engineers (FE).
• Coordinate/communicate field trips among requestor (PM/NOC), customer and FE alone using company database and workflow tools.
• Modify business trips schedule or plan new trips when required.
• Coordinate multiple activity tasks in real time.
• Quality assurance and cost control of field service support.
• Provide feedback about FEs field performance to Field Operations Manager.
• Actively support development of department and its workflow. Support procedures creation by factual feedback to improve operational excellence.
• Prepare monthly reporting from operational activities for Field Operations Manager.
• Assist to Field Operations Manager in other matters.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or French - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Higher education in IT/Telecommunications and/or Business Administration, or compensated by long experience.
• Good overview of satellite and network/IP technologies in general is welcome
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of fluent English written and spoken is a must.

• Ability to plan, organize and delegate operational tasks within the FEs teams and their prompt evaluation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to listen and understand expectations.
• Strong analytical skills and decisiveness.
• High customer orientation, service-minded and able to handle stress and high pressure.
• Comply with agreements.
• Actively share knowledge within the organization.
• Notify in time when and which support is needed.
• Ready to travel in relation with work activities.
• Flexible to perform also other tasks outside the scope of his/her main role.
