Product manager

We are looking for a truly innovative and supportive Product Manager to join our Digital and Diversification team. We specifically seek product manager who can think big and innovate on behalf of the customers. In this role, you will draw upon your understanding of digital content, technical product and business expertise. You will bring great customer focus, the ability to rapidly prioritize and get things done.

The position is primary focus on VOYO web portal & VOYO SMART TV, Android TV, Apple TV, iOS, Android and other future platform applications and video players

o Detailed knowledge of VOYO platform content, functionalities, content navigation, UX design elements. Responsible for the content of FAQ and other product related sections. Supporting customer care in case of required product technical information
o Knowledge of SMART TV, Android TV and mobile app development processes as well as video ingestion and playback processes of video-on-demand platforms.
o Knowledge of publishing CMS platforms (frontend, backend, CRM, API layer), its functionalities and user information exchange processes (incl. single sign on, registration, user profile management). Preparing detailed technical briefs (Slovak digital team proposals) for web/app development teams and dedicated VOYO product managers in Nova CZ.
o Cooperation with Czech Nova VOYO team on regular basis. Exchange of experience and product information with other VOYO product managers across the countries. Coordination of existing VOYO development strategies with other CME VOYO platforms.
o Direct communication with Creative department, Programming department, PR & Marketing team, Sales department (future B2B partner cooperations), Customer care team, Technical and IT department and General director
o Directly reporting to Head of Digital and Diversification, always in proper correlation with common Slovak and Czech digital & online strategy. Brainstorming fresh ideas, bringing up with new features, improving user experience and navigation, improving existing functionalities and checking proper operation of current product portfolio.


Description of additional job position competencies and responsibilities

o Management of complete product life cycle. Partially responsible for other Markiza online projects (markiza.sk, tvnoviny.sk and mobile apps).
o Support in launching new projects – consulting graphics, UX, proposing graphic elements and items for development, discussing technologies, monitoring web performance based on adjustments and implementing additional steps to grow.
o Optimalization of entrusted products, discussing new solutions and proposals with colleagues from Nova CZ. Coordination of product introduction with Digital and Diversification team, external and internal suppliers. Responsibility to keep up with planned actions and meeting deadlines.
o Preparation of analyses and case studies if needed in close cooperation with Digital and Diversification team and Online sales team.
o Preparation of product presentations, development of product performance, coordinated strategy planning, cost analyzes, product success scenarios, etc.
