We have a fantastic opportunity for your next career move. You can work onsite or remotely in the Czech Republic (with travelling to Prague when required). Also, there is a choice to be employed with full-time employment agreement or cooperate as a contractor (IČO).

Key technologies: DNS, SMTP, MX Records, SPF, Reverse Lookup, ProofPoint

  • Provide 3rd level support and operations for all SMTP related issues

  • Be responsible for Linux Messaging System Administration support and service (ProofPoint Protection Server)

  • Be responsible for internal Fax solution and appliances as well as for maintaining a stable environment by leveraging ProofPoint technologies such as TAP, Imposter module and EFD (Email Fraud Defense)

  • Perform Application System updates, patching for ProofPoint Linux Appliances

  • Architecture and creation Security politics like ant spoofing, penetration testing

  • Support merger and acquisition activities as well as support gateway mail cleansing solutions, anti-malware, and spam

  • Ensure effective collaboration between team members and other support teams within organization (i.e. – issues, resolutions, planned service interruptions etc.)

  • Monitor operations status and provide detailed reports as appropriate & adhere to all compliance processes and procedures

  • Identify and resolve problems that may impact daily operations as well as provide support and assistance to customers to identify and resolve technical problems

  • Execute change management activities as required & perform related duties as assigned

Osobnostní předpoklady a dovednosti


  • Strong background in operations and system management tasks with experience in messaging including good knowledge of SMTP mail routing, DNS, MX records, SPF, Reverse Lookup etc.

  • Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting an advantage (Bash, Perl, etc.)

  • DNS, SMTP knowledge with basic Linux knowledge

  • General ProofPoint product knowledge

  • More than 2 year experience supporting a globally spanned (international) environment and 2 year proven leadership experience is a plus

  • Proven capability to work in an organization with direct and indirect reporting lines in a matrix set-up

  • Ability to communicate effectively and motivate team members with track record of working with multinational teams

  • Ability to work different shifts and provide weekend on-call support maybe required

  • Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic
