ETL Data Engineer Consultant – Data Engineering Lead
Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
You will:
- Analyze business needs and create software and hardware solution blueprints
- Work closely with Data Product Managers and Solution Architects to define use cases and measurable business metrics
- Work with engineering teams to check the feasibility of the solution, build stories and architects the solution for the Projects. Drive use cases through complete lifecycle
- Prepare flow charts, systems diagrams and design documentation to assist in problem analysis
- Design, code, test and debug software
- Mentor junior team members on technical and functional skills. You will be a technical lead for the team and a great team player

- 10+ years of direct experience working with MPP Data-warehousing technologies
- Excessive hands-on experience with modern ETL & Pub/Sub technologies
- Advanced hands-on coding ability in SQL (DDL and DML and procedural)
- Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies
- Deep knowledge about historical & advanced ETL and data pipelines concepts
- Experience working with big data
- Proficient in agile methodologies
- Leadership and coaching qualities, willingness and ability to effectively transfer knowledge to less senior colleagues
- Evolved communication, presentation and analytical skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Applications
- Professional recognized certifications in mentioned technologies
- DevOps & CICD experience
