Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a Standards Engineer you will do:
- working with the EDS (Electrical Distribution System) Technical specialist team to create new EDS standards that ensure compliance with global regulations
- liaising with Engineers across company to understand best practice and how to embed this in clear concise requirements and test cases.
- interpreting global requirements and ensuring EDS compliance in a quickly changing environment of electrification, automation and efficiency
- in your new role, you’ll have a great opportunity to influence the robustness, the clarity and the effectiveness of our EDS design processes and to work alongside a specialist highly capable EDS design team
