Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a System Modeller you’ll support the re-architecting of in-house model based Body Chassis Systems to be compatible with the next generation of vehicle electrical architectures. This role will require you to develop an in-depth understand of the influence of new electrical architectures on control functions and define architectural changes that retain or enhance system performance.
You’ll also support the delivery of rigorous Functional Safety, produce control system documentation in accordance with industry best practise and internal standards as well as creating the comprehensive requirements decks, interface specifications and other artefacts required in the implementation phase. You’ll also be expected to provide technical support for delivery activities.

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- You’ll be highly experienced in Model System Design with extensive Matlab Simulink experience and a good knowledge of mathematical control techniques
- You’ll have strong understanding of vehicle network communications, ECUs and electronics.
- You’ll have experience with requirements and change management tools and processes, version control, control strategy documentation
- You’ll have a good experience in applying Systems Engineering and in solving complex technical issues using a structured approach
- You’ll have strong organisational, project management and communication skills.
- You’ll have experience in Agile methodology.
- Experience with following software applications is desirable: DOORS, RTC, Visio, Rhapsody, Stimulus, Catia Magic
