Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for Measurement Technique Engineer to Hungarian branch for our client, who is one of the largest automotive companies.

As a Measurement Technique Engineer, you will:

  • Follow Measurement Technique requirements collection and definition process
  • Contribute to Measurement Technique development and deployment process
  • Contribute to Measurement Technique road map & strategy definition
  • Develop and deliver hardware and software interfaces to interact with advanced AAD ECUs and sensors (Lidar, Radar, High Resolution & High Dynamic Range FPD-Link Cameras, Differential GPS, Inertial Measurement Unit, System on Chip Based ECUs)
  • Work closely with Ground Truth Team, Machine Learning Team, Data Analytics Team, and Hardware in the Loop Team to define and deploy synergy between systems and solutions and align strategies/road maps
  • Search, evaluate and report Measurement Technique innovative hardware and software solutions
  • Ensure that developed Measurement Technique System(s) fit to all defined use cases
  • Develop and deliver Measurement Technique technical documentation, Measurement Technique user manuals and training

Personality requirements and skills

As well as having passion for our world class products, you’ll have:

  • Significant experience of data measurement and collection activities gained in the automotive industry, with knowledge of Active and Critical Safety systems and features
  • Significant experience of working with advanced MT Systems (PXIe, FPGA, Lidar, FPD-Link Cameras, Inertial Measurement Unit, Radars, Automotive Communication Networks)
  • LabView software development working experience
  • General and practical understanding of vehicle systems, especially electric
  • Working with test procedures/verification methods

It will be considered as a plus, if you have:

  • Experience with developing high data throughput Measurement Technique systems
  • Experience in conducting data measurement and collection activities for Driver Assistance or Autonomous Driving features
  • National Instruments LabView Architect or Developer Certificate
  • SAFe Agile Framework working experience
Electronic Systems development experience (hardware and software)
  • Hardware in the Loop development experience
