What will be the job content?

  • Planning and implementation of all internal and external logistics requirements in customer projects.
  • Creating logistics concepts and evaluating logistics processes
  • Ensuring a consistent planning process from the start of the project to handover to the series organization across all interfaces and specialist fields in logistics
  • Ongoing schedule and cost monitoring in accordance with LEAN principles (TCO – total cost of ownership)
  • Detailed planning of highly efficient material and information flow concepts based on logistics concepts
  • Implementation of the same in the existing series organization, including procurement activities
  • Layout planning
  • Compliance with internal and external standards and specifications
  • Coordination of the planning results with the core project team), operational departments, and customers
  • Successful handover of planning to the series organization
  • Lead in continuous improvement processes and audits

Personality requirements and skills

  • English – fluent
  • High school level, higher technical education with a focus on logistics
  • 3-4 years of work experience in logistics and logistics process planning
  • Practical experience in the industrialization of e-drive projects will be an advantage (not mandatory)
  • Very good knowledge of SAP (in the SAP logistics modules MM, WM, and SD)
  • Very good skills in MS Excel, MS Visio, and AutoCAD will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of modern working and management systems in the automobile industry is desirable (Lean Logistics, MTM, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Coordination skills, ability to work independently, assertiveness and good communication skills in English
  • Highly goal-oriented, logical/analytical/entrepreneurial thinking ability
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team
  • Project management know-how
  • Open to learning new things in the automotive and e-mobility fields
