Job description, responsibilities and duties

Position is filled for new Magna plant.

  • Ensure high availability of production equipments in the plant in terms of quality, quantity, ergonomic and scheduled date by organizing preventive and predictive maintenance actions.
  • Ensure that Maintenance programs like repairs, preventive Maintenance and external services are structured, efficient and due to production tasks.
  • Responsible for the availability of all necessary spare parts needed for production machines and equipments.
  • In case of crisis maintenance to coordinate internal maintenance groups and external services.
  • In case of non available machine spare parts develop alternative solutions and implement repairs.
  • Lead and develop people to ensure maximal availability and best quality of production equipments
  • Responsible contact person for PTM’s according to Maintenance subjects.
  • Work on maintenance programs and orders. Declare discrepancies.
  • Coordinate cross functional personnel demand and planning of plan absenteeism.
  • Identify failures and root causes.
  • Supervising and verifying of internal and external maintenance actions.
  • Take part of the preventive maintenance planning by continuous improving of the work instructions of the regular maintenance services.

University student

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

  • Excellent practical and theoretical understanding of Maintenance activities and processes
  • Good overview of production processes, quality and bottlenecks
  • Positive, driven and business oriented leader with talent to motivate and inspire people
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Good communication skills in English or German
  • Good analytical skills in technical problems in machine equipments.
  • Knowledge and experience with analytical/problem soliving tools
  • Basic knowlege TPM
