Job description, responsibilities and duties
* We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining network solutions, specifically firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Your key responsibilities include:
* - Design and maintain network solutions,
* - Ensure the health and security of existing network infrastructure,
* - Identify, drive, and implement new capabilities and improvements,
* - Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise,
* - Prepare and implement scripts to automate network activities,
* - Travel within the EMEA region based on project requirements.
* - Design and maintain network solutions,

Personality requirements and skills
* Strong understanding of networking principles, including OSI model, BGP, NICs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, and routing,
* Proficient in diagnosing and resolving network-related issues, including packet analysis, route tracing, identifying misconfigurations, and solving connectivity problems,
* Experience with physical installations and maintenance of Cisco switches and firewalls,
* Ability to create templates for Cisco switches and firewalls for lower-level network teams,
* Skilled in accurately documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps,
* We would also appreciate:
* At least 5 years of experience in building and supporting scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure on public cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP,
* Experience with SD-WAN technologies, such as Silverpeak or other platforms,
* Experience in managing Linux systems,
* Experience with firewalls, particularly Cisco ASA,
* Familiarity with Cisco and HP switch environments,
* Scripting with Python.
* Proficient in diagnosing and resolving network-related issues, including packet analysis, route tracing, identifying misconfigurations, and solving connectivity problems,
