Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* As a Senior Accountant you'll report directly to the Finance Manager and collaborate closely with your fellow accountants. Your core responsibilities encompass:
* - Ensuring adherence to accounting standards by maintaining up-to-date procedures,
* - Overseeing and managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring continuity in the absence of team members, and jointly ensuring timely monthly closures,
* - Preparation of various declarations such as VAT, intra-community, and intrastat returns,
* - Monitoring and enhancing new electronic accounts payable system, maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders,
* - Managing the entire asset module, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking.
* Moreover, your role will be tailored to your interests and strengths, potentially including:
* - Management of credit and collection tools.
* - Optimization of treasury functions,
* - Serving as the point of contact for VAT-related matters,
* - Financial controlling and reporting,
* - IFRS consolidation,
* - Annual budget processes,
* - Oversight of transfer pricing.
* This role often involves engaging in project-based initiatives to drive continuous improvement within finance operations.

* A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, preferably in an international context and within a production company,

* Additional experience in any of the following domains would be beneficial: IFRS consolidation, VAT, treasury management.
