Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Application administration for company´s proprietary applications – Linux OS and Java based (in Banking, Petrol, Journaling, Cash management, Monitoring platform)
- 2nd Level Support regarding ICT and applications
- Incident, change, request management process for applications and application servers
- Operation of middleware application containers (tomcat, JBoss, wildfly, WebSphere) for Payments Applications
- Delivery of nonstandard orders (special reports for customers, sql queries, etc.)
- Control and Management of: Job's (Batch, Backup, Archive, Journals, Reports, Log's, …)
- Knowledge error documentation, Base responsibility

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

monthly salary from 1100 EUR gross (depends on experience and skills)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

UNIX/Linux administration - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

- English language - B2 (spoken, written), German language is advantage
- Linux - advanced knowledge
- Understanding of network diagram and topology (LAN, WAN, protocols, ports, …)
- General overview about Java and J2EE platform
- Good communication skills, organization and time management
- Your advanatage is:
• Professional education in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical
• Experience in ICT services in large organization
• Experience in ITSM according to ITIL
• Experience with http web server, Active MQ, tomcat, JBoss/wildfly, Perl Scripts, Bash Scripts, RHEL/SLES OS, LDAP, Python scripting
• Application management experience
• Experience in SQL
- Ability to work on shifts for customers on global market (shift wage compensation)
