Job description, responsibilities and duties

Directly supervises all Front Office personnel and ensures proper completion of all Front Office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk and guest services.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all Front Office personnel
- Participates in the selection of Front Office personnel
- Schedules the Front Office shifts, supervises workload during shifts
- Handles complaints and specific customers requests
- Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments
- Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
- Ensures implementation of all hotel policies and house rules
- Monitors all V.I.P 's special guests and requests
- Reviews daily Front Office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit
- Reviews guest feedback on a daily basis
- Performs other duties as requested by management

We will expect from you
- proven work experience as a Front Desk Manager or a hotel front desk supervisory experience
- good organizational and multitasking abilities
- problem-solving skills
- experience in drawing up and updating handouts, procedures, work instructions and check lists to ensure that the quality standard of daily operations in all areas of the Front Office is consistently high
- proficiency in English (oral and written)
