Job description, responsibilities and duties

With report to Quality Manager, and in cooperation with Production Management, Product Engineering, Team Leaders, IQC and supplier, the SQE’s main responsibility is to ensure that supplier delivers the specified and agreed quality. The SQE is focusing on preventive actions at supplier as well as discrepancies found in the entire internal material flow, makes analyses and reports and communicates improvement requirements to supplier.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Coordination suppliers overall quality tasks
• Monitoring, analyzing, reporting and following-up on quality cost on returns to suppliers and initiate corrective actions with systematic follow-up
• Continuous and systematic quality improvement actions at supplier and internally – audits, Q-Circle, FPY, SCRAP
• Participate in internal audit, PFMEA analyses, Control plan for new projects, new processes or new equipment
• Create and maintain IQC inspection instruction and assist IQC technician to perform incoming inspection.
• Analyze raw material quality levels and create activity plans
• Works with supplier to verify new products (sample) are able to meet LINAK demands and expectations.
• Work with IQC inspector and supplier to solve the supplier quality issues found in in IQC or in-line

Personality requirements and skills

Good in verbal and written English
University degree in engineering, mechanical or electronic
Knowledge and experience in quality field
Min. 1 year Quality systems experience, ISO9001:2008 or similar
Familiar with Six Sigma tools, Green Belt training or certificate is advantage
Familiar with quality tools, like PFMEA, PSC a MSA etc.
Electronics knowledge is advantage
Good PC skills (MS Office)
Very structured and detail oriented person
Well developed problem solving skills and ability to complete tasks
Well developed organizing and communication skills
Stress resistant personality
Persistent, flexible, polite but masterful person
