Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Helps to establish new accounts in the company’s business system (“ERP” system).
- Receives purchase orders or signed pro forma invoices from partners and customers for starting an order in the company’s business system (“ERP” system).
- Prepares shipping and other services costs to support quoting and final partner or customer order.
- Works with factories (USA, Germany, Slovakia, China) to get order scheduled.
- Advocates for the Customer or Partner, serves as the interface between Partner and the factories worldwide.
- Prepares order confirmation documents, pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinates the shipping with partner’s shipper or company’s shipper, including all necessary import and export documents.
- Handles customer quality, shipping, and occasional service issues after the sale, working with the respective manufacturing operations teams.
- Works to proactively forecast customer near-term customer orders.
- Participates in business meetings and functions.
