Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Junior IT Process Consultant, you will support our international engineering and IT teams in connecting business needs with technical solutions across our PLM and engineering landscape.
You will learn how to integrate and improve tools and workflows that drive innovation and product-lifecycle efficiency in the automotive industry.

What will be your responsibilities?​

  • Ensure support integration of IT systems with engineering tools like 3D CAD, simulation software and PLM environment
  • Drive the business forward with integration of the tools and processes for electronic and component development in our PLM environment
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into basic IT/system specifications
  • Help maintain and document system environments and user guidelines
  • Participate in testing, implementation and optimization of new tools and methods
  • Provide first insights and support for technical questions and challenges 3rd level support (under guidance of senior colleagues)
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure smooth daily operations and knowledge sharing

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

What do we expect from you?

  • Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a comparable field
  • Interest in product development processes, PLM systems (PTC Windchill) and engineering tools (e.g. 3D CAD, CATIA, Siemens NX) – any internship or project experience is a plus
  • Analytical mindset, willingness to learn and develop problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly in an international environment
  • Fluent English (minimum B2); any German knowledge is an advantage
