Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Align technical requirements with the development team
  • Development of concepts for the implementation of requirements in serial products
  • Implementation of concepts in Software components
  • Analysis and evaluation of requirements for feasibility
  • Test the software components and integrate them with the overall software system
  • Planning, processing and documentation of all theoretical and practical investigations
  • Coordination of technical requirements with customer and development team

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

electronics, mechatronics or comparable degrees

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Finished bachelor/ master's degree in electronics, mechatronics, computer science or comparable degrees
  • First programming experience with C/C++ for embedded devices
  • Experience in automotive Software development is welcomed
  • Basic knowledge of bus systems in automotive (CAN, LIN, Flexray, UTP Ethernet)
  • Experience with Autosar and related tools
  • Contact with car diagnosis (UDS, ODX)
  • Basic knowledge of embedded hardware
  • First contact with popular tools like PTC Integrity or Doors, Vector CANoe is welcomed
  • Systematic approach (V-model and SPICE) beside analytic understanding and ability to work in a team
  • Previous experience in the field of functional safety would be an advantage
  • Active communication in English language (B2), German is an advantage
  • Flexibility, responsibility, teamwork
