Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Drives, conducts and leads internal PPE (Production Process Engineering) project work
• Develops special solutions according to the strategy
• Optimizes existing processes and equipment
• Evaluates and defines standards for equipment and processes
• Takes over responsibility for project work
• Develops and implements strategy concepts
• Takes ownership over the process to establish accountability
• Enforces/Establishes process standards on global level
• Supports release of production tools and equipment
• Initiates improvements within the tool, process and equipment
• Generates market overview on equipment suppliers
• Ensures the release and development of equipment suppliers
• Supports the Software/Hardware release process
• Contact partner for internal/external customers (e.g. suppliers)

Personality requirements and skills

• Strong technical skills to understand and drive engineering projects
• Experience in crimp technology is advantage
• Education in mechanical engineering or equivalent higher education
• Minimum 3 years experience in automotive industry
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Very good English skills (written & spoken)
• Additional French or German languages skills appreciated
• Willingness for international business trips to our LEONI plants, customers & suppliers
• Knowledge of Windows and MS Office
• Knowledge of process analysis
