What will you do
The EMEA Demand Planning team is seeking a highly motivated Demand Planner with a strong technical background to drive demand forecasting, inventory management, and collaborative planning efforts for Commercial PC products. This role is critical in ensuring supply aligns with demand, optimizing factory planning, and minimizing excess inventory.
You'll be responsible for:
- Develop accurate, data-driven demand forecasts leveraging historical data and market trends.
- Plan Low-Value Parts (LVP) for New Product Introductions (NPI) and validate automated LVP planning accuracy.
- Build short-term (6 months) and long-term (18 months) demand and capacity plans, including recommending risk buys.
- Check orders, compare short-term and long-term forecasts, and manage inventory strategies.
- Analyze data for market guidance, track manual consumption, and manage automated LTS tracking.
- Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to ensure accurate demand planning.
- Plan demand for shipping, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of components.
- Adjust forecasts based on demand patterns, seasonality, and pipeline metrics.
- Monitor demand planning performance, prepare actionable reports, and participate in reviews.
- Align demand forecasts with production and procurement plans through S&OP collaboration.
- Leverage predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI for enhanced forecast accuracy.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine demand forecasts.
