Have 2+ years’ experience of working within a finance department, ideally within a large matrix organization
Have strong IT / Excel skills

what will you do
As a Finance Analyst you will join Motorola Mobility, based in Bratislava, Slovakia, within the Lenovo Business Services Centre of Excellence. You will be supporting the Go-To-Market teams who work directly with sales & marketing and have close involvement with our key customers as well as our Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will report to our EMEA Motorola Controller, based in the UK.
We are looking for an individual happy to work in a fast paced, varied and highly interactive role, who will:
Support business, sales, marketing and operations functions and analyze data at country, business unit, key account and product levels.
Support and drive customer discount and rebate process with ownership for some selected EMEA countries processes for payments and controls.
Gather, interpret, and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts.
Create reports to monitor customer deals across Europe.
Participate in Month end & Sales analysis and review.
Expectation that role will develop in the short/mid-term to encompass country level control.
Drive process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
Be proactive in the analysis and control of customer accruals
Evaluates investments, commercial contracts and financial regulations.
Liaise with Credit, AR and Accounting functions to provide support to the Go-to-market team
Tracking pricing against regional guidance and supporting forecast processes
Scope of Your Responsibilities:
Support Sales & Marketing Structure from a Finance stand point;
Developing professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues;
Gathers data and prepares reports and spreadsheets;
Provides well-informed observations, analysis, and recommendations; Supports Accounting month-end closing activities/
