EMEA Logistics Network & Business Analyst

who are we looking for

• Analytic and problem solving abilities. 2-3 years experience in Cost Control or Finance area.

• Experienced in analyzing and optimizing logistics solutions to offer cost effective and fast logistics networks.

• In depth knowledge of domestic & international freight networks – all MOTs – and broad knowledge & experience of the transport & logistics industry key levers.

• First class communicator – able to package and present information, at all levels, in a clear and professional manner.

• Excellent MS PowerPoint skills required.

• Advanced MS Excel skills required.

• MS Power BI experience is advantage.

• Ability to model logistics scenarios and draw accurate, clear and data supported conclusions.

• Cost control is required and overall knowledge of supply chain is an advantage.

what will you do

This position will be responsible for general Cost control and business analytics in EMEA Global Logistic organization. You will lead the Annual/Qtr/Monthly measurement, planning, forecasting and analyzing of Finance Logistic KPI’s like spend per provider, CPB, Mode of transport, Cost Savings projects, travel costs etc. Presenting results and financial KPI’s in front of the Logistic and GSC organization. Responsible to develop new capabilities to improve processes and cost efficiency.

On this role you will provide help as requested on various analysis, reports and consultancy for EMEA Global Logistics and GSC partners.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

• Analyze the EMEA logistics network in terms of cost, speed & accuracy and provide regular meaningful reports to the logistics management team that drive continuous improvement of the network related to speed, cost & accuracy.

• Own the freight forecasting process based on historical analysis, inputs from respective Lenovo teams and carriers, coordinate the communications towards respective owners on regular basis.

• Analyze actual freight volumes and cost and understand deviations from the forecast and its impact on overall cost spend.

• Take the lead in developing and maintaining the Logistics Budget.

• Support the Financial close process.

• Prepare regular MOT (Mode of Transport) analysis, highlight issues and drive improvements.

• Take an active role in providing an ongoing list of network improvements / changes to assist in achieving the EMEA cost / lead-time targets.

• Own an internal BMS for providing monthly cost KPIs to support the attainment of the EMEA Logistics KPIs.

• Provide direct support for any RFQ activity in terms of providing background financial or logistics data, as well as helping to assess carrier responses to RFQ activity.

• Provide direct support to major projects by providing effective business case and network capability data.

1 600 EUR/monthBase gross monthly salary from minimum 1600 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
