Microsoft Windows Server Sales Specialist for Eastern Europe

who are we looking for

What you'll bring :

• 5+ years sales experience in a partner or vendor related sales role in IT industry ( preferably in new account development , rather than traditional account management)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server based products eg : Windows Server IT industry and IT industry overall
• Ability to build and drive good relationships with stakeholders - experience of working in the channel would be a key advantage to be successful in this role.
• Ability to prepare reports reg. business results / opportunities on regular basis
• Ability to manage a customer satisfaction as well as workload with multiple priorities
• Fluent in English - good verbal, telephone and written communication skills
• Ability, within reason, to work outside normal hours as dictated by business requirements i.e. partner and event travel (in the future).

Base gross monthly salary from minimum 2100 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

You will work directly with Lenovo account managers, Channel Partners (distributors and resellers) to drive sales of Lenovo with joint Microsoft/Lenovo solutions and to grow market share by :
• Developing business, driving and achieving sales goals for Microsoft/Lenovo offerings in selected countries in EMEA (Eastern Europe mostly)
• Work with Lenovo and channel partners to integrate Microsoft/Lenovo offerings into all sales activities and to accelerate reach across all segments.
• To be the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Lenovo teams and channel partners for questions and support regarding Microsoft offerings on Lenovo servers.
• Scour existing opportunity pipelines at all levels to ensure Microsoft Windows Server and SQL licenses are included and to work with sales teams to include them wherever possible.
• Working with the existing Lenovo and Microsoft network to ensure that all channel partners have completed all necessary training/enablement for Microsoft / Lenovo solutions to ensure that the partners execute these agreed sales plans within the agreed timescales.
• Identify trends in partner markets/competitor activity, anticipate long-term programme needs and propose creative programmes or solutions.
• Achievement of targets set on quarterly basis for Server/OS Attach sales, pipeline OS Attach, partner breadth and achievement of Revenue goals as shared by Lenovo/Microsoft management
• Provide input into the weekly/monthly/quarterly (Rhythm of the Business) ROB and reporting with relevant examples and data points.

This is a contractor position to be transfered to Lenovo internal position in 2022.

You will report to Leader of Sales Solutions for Storage and hyperconverged products based in Denmark supporting customers in EMEA (Eastern Europe mainly).
